Russian bear (6 of March 2021)

Dear friends!

We invite you to join the celebration of the Russian language.

This year is our seventh time hosting the international game contest “Russian Bear – Linguistics for All!” at our school and throughout Australia!

The competition will be held on March 6, 2021, during school hours from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm.

Its duration is 75 minutes.

You can join your class at the top of any hour and take part in the contest.

Our little Bear does not require much effort, the tasks are fun, entertaining, and designed to suit students of all levels, so everyone would enjoy having a go. Even those who are not too keen on linguistics get at least several tasks right so nobody leaves upset.

All students from Years 2 to 12 are welcome to participate.

There are five age groups: Years 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 and 10-12, and the competition suits those who have Russian as their second native language and those who are studying Russian as a foreign language. Each group will be offered its own version of 30 (for early primary school children – 28) tasks on Russian language and linguistics, most of which can be done by any student.

There is also a special version for adults, so parents are welcome to take part!

This is a FREE event!

!Please inform committee.warussianschool@gmail.com if you want to participate!

Children and adults are both invited to take part!
